7. 7. 1930 - he was born in Chelčice u Vodňan in the teacher's family

1949 - he sat for the final exams at grammar school in Strakonice

1950 - 1955 - he studied at Academy of Art in Bratislava, the professors were Ladislav Čemický, Ján Želibský, František Jiroudka and Ludvík Fulla who was teaching him the monumental creation. He finished his studies at the special figural school where the professor was Ján Mudroch.

1955 - in June, he finished the studies at the university with the state exams, during graduating he was awared the title "Merited artist". Then he came back to South Bohemia. He lives and works in České Budějovice, Hálkova street, 18, where he has his studio.

1955 - 1995 - he participated at home even abroad in 37 author's exhibition of his own and over 60 exhibition which were common.

1984 - he was awared the title "Merited artist" for his art activity. He was awared for his creativity in this country even abroad. In his formation, he occupies himself with the portrait but also with painting of countryside and even with monumental cooperation with some architects.

1955 - 1990 - during his research journeys, he visited 25 countries of Europe, America and Asia.
